On April 8th, the Great American Eclipse of 2024 will complete the giant “X” over America that the Great American Eclipse of 2017 began.
Until this week, we didn’t realize that there were two eclipses that happened seven years apart when Babylon fell too.
According to the History Channel, the Neo-Babylonian Empire “lasted from 626 B.C. to 539 B.C.”…
A new line of kings established the Neo-Babylonian Empire, which lasted from 626 B.C. to 539 B.C. The Neo-Babylonian Empire became the most powerful state in the world after defeating the Assyrians at Nineveh in 612 B.C.
The Neo-Babylonian Empire enjoyed a period of cultural renaissance in the Near East. The Babylonians built many beautiful and lavish buildings and preserved statues and artworks from the earlier Babylonian Empire during the reign of King Nebuchadnezzar II.
It was during this period of time that the Babylonians destroyed the First Temple and burned down the city of Jerusalem.
What most people don’t realize is that the Neo-Babylonian Empire did not last for very long.
In 539 B.C., it was conquered by King Cyrus of Persia…
The Neo-Babylonian Empire, like the earlier Babylonia, was short-lived.
In 539 B.C., less than a century after its founding, the legendary Persian king Cyrus the Great conquered Babylon. The fall of Babylon was complete when the empire came under Persian control.
Seven years before King Cyrus conquered the Neo-Babylonian Empire, on October 23rd, 546 B.C. there was a partial solar eclipse over the city of Babylon.
Seven years later, on December 3rd, 539 B.C., there was another partial solar eclipse over the city of Babylon.
After some more digging, and it was discovered that there was a similar pattern at the time of the fall of the original Babylonian Empire.

Babylon became a major military power under Amorite king Hammurabi, who ruled from 1792 to 1750 B.C. After Hammurabi conquered neighboring city-states, he brought much of southern and central Mesopotamia under unified Babylonian rule, creating an empire called Babylonia.
Amazingly, an ancient cuneiform text says that there was a lunar eclipse and a solar eclipse prior to the destruction of the original Babylonian Empire…

A cuneiform text from the series Enuma Anu Enlil (EAE #20) reports on the destruction of Babylon after a lunar and solar eclipse. Eclipses provide a great tool for examining historic events, and this account will be our basis for the investigation of eclipse pairs to be fitted into the various chronologies proposed.
That is pretty remarkable.

In a previous article, we also pointed out that the Great American Eclipse of 2024 crosses over seven locations in the United States called Ninevah.
It has also been confirmed that there are only seven locations called Ninevah in the entire country…
Because here’s what I found even more stunning than that initial claim: not only does the Eclipse pass through 7 US cities named Nineveh, but there are ONLY 7 total US cities named Nineveh in the entire United States.
Yes, you read that right: there are only 7 total and the Eclipse hits them all!
So the path of the Great American Eclipse of 2024 will literally cross over every location called “Ninevah” in the United States.

Some of those locations will be able to view a partial solar eclipse, and some of them will be able to view a total solar eclipse.
While all of this is going on, the “Devil’s Comet” will be roaring through the heavens.
According to Live Science, this comet only comes along “every 71 years or so”…

Comet 12P/Pons Brooks (12P), also known as the devil comet, is a 10.5-mile-wide (17 kilometers) comet that circles the sun on a highly elliptical orbit every 71 years or so. 12P is a cryovolcanic, or ice volcano, comet. This means that it occasionally erupts when solar radiation cracks open its icy shell, or nucleus, allowing it to shoot out a combination of ice and gas, known as cryomagma, into space. When this happens, the cryomagma massively expands 12P’s coma — the cloud of gas and dust surrounding the nucleus — making the comet appear much brighter for the next few days.
And to top everything off, on April 8th the sun, the moon and the other seven planets in our solar system will all look like they have lined up in the sky if you are looking east from the city of Jerusalem.
As we approach April 8th, there will be countless stories in the mainstream media about the Great American Eclipse of 2024.
But instead of seeing it as a sign of impending judgment, Americans all over the country are planning parties and celebrations for April 8th.
They will literally be celebrating as the Great American Eclipse of 2024 completes the giant “X” over America.
As I reflected on this, it reminded me of something that the Apostle Paul wrote in 1 Thessalonians chapter 5…3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Has Peace and Safety been proclaimed? It has been on several counts…first we had the Abraham Accords that were signed in 2020, now we have several world leaders, American politicians and the Trump 2024 campaign that have repeatedly claimed that things will be better when Trump is re-elected, that world peace will come, that he will save America and the world when he comes back.
Not only that but we recently saw Trump get nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize of 2024 and was given ‘the Crown of Jerusalem’ and the ‘Covenant of Peace Award’ by the Israel Heritage Foundation where they called him the ‘Prince of Peace’ and even attribute Isaiah 9:6 to him which is really about Jesus. (Isaiah 9:6 ‘For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.’)
