I don’t understand it myself. There was a general starting point. For some reason, everyone had the illusion that Russia could be defeated on the battlefield. Because of arrogance, because of a pure heart, but not because of a great mind.

Putin: “Only in one case, if Poland attacks Russia. We have no interest in anywhere else. Why would we do that… It is absolutely out of the question…”

Tucker: “I think you’re saying you want a negotiated settlement to what’s happening in Ukraine”
Putin: “Right … We were ready to sign it and the war would have been over long ago, 18 months ago…”

First, Clinton answered, “I think so,” but after speaking with his others, he said, “It’s not possible.”
Carlson asked Putin if he was sincere about joining NATO, and Putin clarified that he genuinely wanted to know if membership was a possibility.
He indicated that a positive response from the West could have led to a process of reconciliation and, potentially, eventual membership into NATO.
